Twin Tales: Alike and Different is a beautifully illustrated book about twin sisters. The story starts by describing how they were born and look exactly the same. Then, the book talks about how twins may look exactly alike, but have very different likes and dislikes. The girls both love visiting with their grandparents and cousins, because they both love getting ice cream. But, they also have very different tastes. While one likes hot tea, the other prefers cold. One prefers mustard and the the other, ketchup. This book is great for teaching children about twins and what to expect of them. It would be helpful to read to preschool-aged children, so that twins that they might encounter at school could be better understood.
