Author Bio

Aged 21 Robin was all set to become a cavalry officer; aged 21 and a half, he found himself working as an assistant gravedigger in south London wondering where it all went wrong. Robin has gone on to start and run over a dozen successful businesses from dog- sitting to cigars, tuition to translation. The list is quite exhausting. Robin is married with three young children. He spends his time between Pau in the Pyrenées and Henley-on- Thames.

Monster Max and the Bobble Hat of Forgetting is Robin’s first book with Firefly Press publishing in February 2021. He has also written other books for children, published with Monster Books.

Rampaging Rugby, first in the Stupendous Sports non-fiction series for 7-11-year-olds will publish August 2021.

Motherhood. Talk about a 24/7 job, the most rewarding and challenging job of my life.

The newborn stage is incredibly sweet. There was a lot of sleeping. If I were giving myself advice as a new mom, it would be to rest. I know, there’s things to do and meals to make and clean up, etc. The cleaning can wait. The food will be provided. Have simple things as far as food is concerned. There’s no need to cook anything! Paper plates and plastic utensils for a week, or longer, is not going to hurt anything. I would tell myself that resting and allowing others to support you is priority #1! I say this now because I didn’t take adequate time to rest and rejuvenate. Partially due to the fact that I felt so awesome post-birth. Still, allowing my mind and body the time to integrate everything that had just occurred is something I would have liked to give myself more time for.

Immediately following the birth, Annie and Jacob cleaned it all up. I felt weightless and overjoyed, full of energy and empowered beyond belief! I felt like I could do anything! I was invincible! I can remember being with new baby and Madeline, my 7-year-old Lab. Her head was as big as new baby’s entire body. I took a picture. I spent a long time staring at this beautiful child that had been in my belly the past 9+ months. It didn’t feel real. Eventually, I finally fell asleep that night.

Dr. Laura Sims has been helping people reach optimal health since 2006. Along with her husband, they founded 2 of the largest chiropractic practices on the western slope of Colorado.

Back when Rosie was two years old we started training for an Excellent title in Canadian Rally Obedience. This meant that we got to work with jumps, tunnels, and weave poles.

When I first started, I lured her to go through the weave poles. She caught on quickly, and we thought we were making progress.

Then I removed the lure, and she got lost. This caused both Rosie and I to get frustrated.

About The Author

Tammy L. Hein gained her certification through Animal Behavior College Dog as a trainer and has ten years of experience training dogs. Her goal is to help dog owners better understand their four-legged companions and in doing so, help them better co-exist. She’s a firm believer that no dog is untrainable and that with the right tools, any owner can remedy their pet’s issues.

When she’s not writing books that will help dog owners, she’s training dogs, reading, or spending quality time with the people near and dear her heart—family and friends. This has always been the problem.So, let me dig at you a bit: What exactly do you believe? Let me put some teeth into this question.

• If God asked you to build an ark, would you?

• If He asked you to sacrifice your son, would you? Okay, let me bring it closer to home.

• If He asked you to pray for the sick— someone who was in a coma on life support attached to a ventilator, moments from being “unplugged”— would you?

• If He asked you to cast out a demon, would you?

• If He asked you to pray for a dead person, to bring them back to life, would you? Still too tough? Okay, what if He asked you to:

• Forgive someone who didn’t deserve it— at all. Would you?

• Tell the Muslim with the prayer rug in the cubicle next to you about Him. Would you?
