This fun and light-hearted romance has something for everyone. Villa of Second Chances ends up being just that for the characters in this book. There are many friends and strangers who end up finding their second chance at love and adventure as they meet at the Villa Sesame in the French Riviera.
Rebecca (Becky) and Delphine worked hard for decades to end up with their dream: owning and running a charming villa. Delphine is the chef and Rebecca organizes everything for weddings and special events. They have created a very successful business, but Delphine wants to be a sleeping partner after the death of her husband. Rebecca’s adult son is out on his own and she feels alone until a long-lost love shows up at one of her wedding events.
Friends get together at a re-marriage after years apart, long-ago hard feelings are causing tension, and there is quite a bit of drama. But, overall, the story is calm and sweet and is a short and relaxing read.
