My Review
Does everyone deserve a chance at redemption? After you meet the cast of characters in this book, you’ll doubt it. In this enjoyable suspense book, the villains are very, very bad.
When a young teen, Ollie, witnesses a mob murder, she must be protected. The mob’s hitmen are close and want to make sure Ollie never testifies. FBI agents Sully and Piper are given the task of keeping her alive. After her safe house is no longer safe, Sully asks a recovery ranch owner if they can bring Ollie there. Unfortunately, a nearby cult/mob-controlled compound is busy attacking everyone at the ranch.
Even though there are drone attacks, bombs, guns, and kidnappings, love is also blossoming between Sully and Elena. This sweet, wholesome romance offers a nice balance between all the violence. I appreciate the faith in God that is a constant. Redemption and healing are the goal of this story. I loved the book and the suspense found on every page.
