As her plans unravel, can she give her children what they truly need?
Foster mom Rae Girard’s determined to make her children’s first Christmas with her the best they’ve ever had—and she’s shocked when the town scrooge, attorney Cole Heinsohn, offers to pitch in. Rae’s young charges have melted Cole’s heart, and he wants them to experience the special day he never had. But when disaster strikes, an imperfect holiday might bring them something better: a family…

My Review
This book grabbed my heart from the very beginning. It has all the components of a perfect holiday romance. Rae is the foster mom of two young children who have scars from an abusive father. Thanks to his Grandma Tilley, Cole is paired off with Rae to finish organizing a huge fundraiser that benefits foster children. Rae is a busy business owner and Cole is a busy lawyer. Because of Cole’s secret childhood trauma, he is drawn to the little boy and tries very hard to help him heal. Rae has sworn off all relationships after her horrible marriage and Cole is afraid of relationships because he thinks he will turn into his dad. But, in this Christian holiday read, God has a different plan. I enjoyed every page of this small book and reading it will bring true Christmas cheer with it’s heartwarming ending.
