Do your children or grandchildren like spooky stories? With Halloween coming up soon, Squashed is the perfect book for children who won’t be scared from a story that’s a little spooky. This book is a graphic novel, so children will love the cartoon style pages and artwork.
The little girl goes into the edge of the forest, but the naughty boys steal her teddy bear out of her backpack and run into the woods. She chases after them. They are astonished to see some strange pumpkins ahead. They are very warm and oozy. Next they spot three creepy scarecrows. They decide to take a pumpkin home, without noticing that one of the other pumpkins open up to a creepy new scarecrow. What will happen to the children tonight as they sleep? Will this pumpkin also have a creepy scarecrow that would be loose in their home? Children who enjoy a scary story will love this book!
