My Review
Board books are favorites of mine, as they are perfect for reading to babies and toddlers. They can stand up to the rough treatment of pre-readers. All little children will be grabbing for this new board book about Easter. The book is shaped like an Easter basket, including a wicker handle cut-out where tiny hands can reach. The book has gorgeous illustrations that include a glitter finish on the cover.
Every two pages the author has a different theme to explore. She uses a Scripture verse and then a section of poetry. The beautifully written lines are shown in the accompanying illustrations. The first few pages describe Spring and then Easter becomes the focus. This is a Christian book, so the story is of Jesus dying and then rising again. I look forward to sharing this book with my grandchildren and recommend it wholeheartedly.
I need a few copies of this book to add to my grandbabies Easter baskets. Thanks for sharing your review and the book and author’s details
