My Review
At first glance, Macey is just another cute little girl. She is smiling and happy and is filled with boundless energy. She is constantly on-the-go and eager to meet everyone that comes across her path.
Macey loves to talk to people and make them smile. She loves to converse with them and ask them questions. She loves to dress up and play. One of her favorite things is to sing. She sings and sings!
But, Macey also has another part to her life. Sometimes she gets very tired and must rest. Going to school and learning to read and do math is very difficult for Macey. But, she doesn’t stop trying. She has many people who help her.
She had big problems to face when she was younger, but Macey is now full of life and brings joy to those around her. This book shares how even if you have limitations in some ways, the marvelous-ness is still there!

Hi Lisa. I recently came across your website, and I think you might really enjoy a book I am helping a self-published author promote.
It’s titled “Who Wants to be Friends with a Dragon?”, and it’s the story of an unlikely friendship between a dragon and a young boy that encourages children to look past their differences and find kindness in others.
The co-author, Linda Drattell, was deafened in her 30’s, and that experience has informed this story. As Linda explains, “The dragon’s self-isolation is based on how I felt when I lost my hearing, but it really represents anyone who feels different for whatever reason.”
Please feel free to reach out to me if you would be interested in reading the book. Thank you and keep up the great work you are doing in support of both readers and authors!
