My Review

Little Sweetpea Teaches Little Possum A Lesson is a young children’s book with plenty of pictures. The pictures are hand-drawn art. In this story Sweetpea is a small, but growing sweetpea pod. She enjoys growing in the sun and drinking water.

Little Possum is tricky and hides in a tree. He usually sneaks up on his food, but Little Sweetpea wants to teach him a lesson. She begins a friendship with Little Possum and tries to help him find food.

She points out the blackberry vines in the garden. She selects and offers a bunch of blackberries to Little Possum and he likes them. Now, Little Possum knows how to get his own blackberries.

The story book has lovely rhyming and little children will enjoy the rhymes and sweet story.
