MY REVIEW
Think of all the things that could happen when a little girl explores the beach? With her parents keeping watch, Sara decides to make her famous seaweed soup!
While the family is on their vacation, Sara plays with her bucket while her baby sister Hallie plays next to her mother. Sara’s dad is wanting to catch a fish and is readying his gear. Sara begins to gather her ingredients for the soup.
The cute story also is very educational. Children will learn to identify colors and sea creatures, too. The illustrations are magical, bringing out so much that a child would love and experience at the beach. I look forward to reading this book to my grandchildren, who may get some ideas for their next beach trip.

Antoinette Truglio Martin is a retired speech therapist and special ed teacher, who now enjoys life as an author and nonny. She finds wonder in children’s play and captures the magic with her stories. Antoinette lives in her hometown, Sayville, New York, where she writes and plays on the Long Island seashore with her beach-loving family and friends.
