help them in time?
MY REVIEW
This is my first experience reading any books in the Doctoroo series. These books are about a kangaroo who is a doctor and her friends. They travel from Australia to Hawaii and are very excited. They are eagerly expecting the festival, where the pigs are going to dance the hula.
At the festival dancing practice the pigs get hot and very red. They aren’t sure what’s wrong, so DOCTOROO decides to go all over to try and find out what is causing this redness. They end up checking out the volcano, examine a spider, and even look for poison ivy. What on earth is causing this awful redness?
The book was funny and educational. The characters were very dramatic and the illustrations were a little over the top. Children from ages 4-8 are accustomed to very bright and loud television, so this type of illustrations will probably be very welcome.
