Canyon Survival by Connie Queen
My Review
A young woman is in the Palo Duro Canyon with two small children, trying desperately to get them to safety. But Stormy can’t remember who she is, how she got these children, or who is after her. She has amnesia and can’t remember anything, but when armed thugs are chasing her she must do everything she can to protect the children.
Riggs Brenner is in his cabin and an ex-FBI and is willing to help Stormy in her struggle. The bad guys coming after her are shooting to kill. Then they blow up Riggs’s home! There is such a lot of action in this section of the book! The middle section is slow but the last section becomes more suspenseful. When Stormy finds her people, she finds that her real name is Annie Tillman and that she works for a child recue organization. The story shows Annie’s courage to overcome her troubled childhood and Riggs ability to overcome his grief and guilt.
