MY REVIEW
Are you a middle child? I’m not, but my middle child could have easily written this book. Being Middle is a darling book that rhymes. Rhyming books are so much fun to read and children love to hear the rhyming lines.
The sweet little girl is in the middle between two other sisters. As the book begins, she is very negative. She looks at all the things her older sister can do and wishes it was her. Then, she looks at all the things her younger sister can do and is jealous.
When she tells her mother how she feels her mother helps her to see that being in the middle is wonderful. She starts looking at her life in a positive light. Everything can now have a different meaning, when she realizes that being middle is a great place to be.
I can’t wait to read this to my grandchildren. It’s a short and sweet book with beautiful artwork.
