This book is #4 in the Winter, Montana series. Winter, Montana sounds like the perfect place for a Christmas getaway. They have all the snow, mountain views, and wonderful events of a small town. Rhett’s family own a ranch and he is going home for the holidays to stay with his dad. He dreads leaving Seattle with all the great places and his job, but it looks like he’s not going to get the promotion he deserved. There’s a lot of bad blood in his extended family, so he never knows what to expect at home.
Then, we meet Olive, a relative newcomer to Winter. She loves everything about the town and has made it her own. The reader gets to enjoy a story we loved in You’ve Got Mail. The twist on this storyline is the sub-plot of some bitter relatives and the positive lessons learned about God and relationships.
This is a wonderful book and a quick read. If you want a feel-good, positive holiday read, you’ll enjoy it, too.
