I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion. Affiliate link included. Full Disclosure Here.
I was interested in reading this book because it sounded like a sweet Hallmark movie and the cover looked like the train station I used to catch my train to the east coast.
I don’t believe that I’ve read any books from this author before, but I enjoy the way she describes everything so vividly. She takes a lot of time to describe the setting of each scene so that you can picture it in your mind.
The main characters are Zoey and Noah, who were once high-school sweethearts. But, things have changed and Zoey moved away. Now, she’s returning and has vowed never to see his face again. That may be very hard to do.
Creating a setting in a small town makes the story more quaint, charming, and romantic. The characters are believable because second change love happens every day!

Brittany Maher and Cassandra Speer, leaders of the social media sensation and ministry Her True Worth, deliver a powerful call to women to break free from the bondage of false identities and discover their true worth in Jesus Christ.
After years of working in the beauty industry, Brittany Maher and Cassandra Speer became disheartened by the false, contradictory messages about what defines a woman’s worth. They saw women who were lost and wandering, endlessly seeking security and approval. So Maher and Speer made it their mission to help Christian women uncover their valuable identity in Jesus Christ.
In Her True Worth, Maher and Speer reveal what God intended our identity to be in the beginning, how sin corrupted it, how Christ has redeemed it, and how to live securely in that identity. They remind women that, ultimately, their true worth is found in him–and that’s a life-altering, soul-anchoring truth to live in and live from. Along the way, women will learn how to
identify the false messages that are stealing their self-worth;
understand how God defines them and how much he values them;
embrace what the Word of God says about who they are; and
find their security and significance in Christ alone.
By learning who Jesus is and who they are in him, women are transformed by this biblical message that shows them how worthy and deeply loved by God they are.

This book is a novella, so it’s a quick read. It’s a sweet romance and very clean, but it doesn’t always have warm, fuzzy feelings. Bryan and Adelyn met at the alter, but he couldn’t say I Do. His friend had shown him a picture before the ceremony that made him think that Adelyn was unfaithful to him. She was humiliated and he never talked to her after that.
Now, six months later they were about to be thrown together. She was an elementary teacher and he a rich celebrity chef in New Orleans. Her passion was to try and help those poor students who didn’t have enough to eat at home. Bryan’s passion was to promote himself, because he was an arrogant snob.
Her school was about to have a fundraiser to help the food bank and they designated Adelyn to convince Bryan to be the celebrity entertainment. She tried and tried to call him and even showed up at his tv studio. He was such a jerk! What was going to happen if she couldn’t pull him in for the fundraiser?
This Christian romance teaches about caring, forgiveness, and humility. I didn’t like the character Bryan. But, maybe you will. It’s a nice little love story.
Snowball the Sherlock Rabbit is on the hunt again. This time, Snowball is
asked by his birdie friends for help to find their missing humans.
Snowball’s fellow rabbits join into search.
