Champ is about an adopted dog and his life adventures.
As an older dog, Champ finds out the meaning of friendship.
When Jim arrives home from school, Champ would be waiting for him at the bus stop. Champ knew when he was getting closer to home. He felt a happiness and sure enough Jim would come down off the bus and greet him excitedly.
It was a match made in heaven.
The years went by, and life was beautiful for both of them.
On Sunday they would go to the park and play different games. Their favorite game was catching the frisbee.

This easy read is a Christian Historical Romance. The story takes place in medieval Scotland and there are plenty of words that come from the Scottish language. Thankfully, a glossary is in the back of the book. The story centers around a young woman, Fiona, who is seeking to live in a convent. She is a widow who has had a very bad experience with marriage and family. She happens upon a village where two clans are battling. Caught in the middle, she is kidnapped by Adam (laird of the MacIntosh clan) in order to swap her for his brother. It doesn’t work, but she ends up staying in his home to help him with his daughter’s step-sister. There is much bitterness and sadness in his home and Fiona’s ways begin to bring about changes in everyone’s heart. Christian grace and love makes all the difference and a romance begins between the two. Adam’s dead wife reappears and puts a stop to their desires. What will happen when this hateful woman takes over the MacIntosh home? Will Fiona take her vows? I enjoyed this heartwarming book.
